The Indiana University Research Center for Chinese Politics & Business (RCCPB) and the IUPUI Lilly Family School of Philanthropy will be hosting the China Philanthropy Summit on October 31-November 1.

The Summit brings together over thirty top experts and philanthropists to examine the state of philanthropy in China today and consider how to build on this progress in the future. Scholars from leading U.S. and Chinese universities and institutions will present their latest findings from 13 research projects. Roundtable discussions will feature seasoned American and Chinese philanthropists and the next generation of philanthropic leaders.

Yang Peng, former President of the One Foundation and Holly Chang, Founder and President of the Golden Bridges Foundation, will be the keynote speakers for the summit.

The summit is the highlight event of the three-year “Initiative of Philanthropy in China” funded by the Henry Luce Foundation and the Ford Foundation, jointly carried out by the IU RCCPB and the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
